**How to use
For red snapper fishing, we recommend using a lightweight rod or a small to medium-sized rotor SLJ-compatible rod specially designed for red snapper. For bait rods, a small fishing reel is recommended.
The thickness of PE rope depends on the strength of the rod, but is usually 0.6 to 1.0, with 0.8 being standard. A 2-3 m fluorocarbon fiber shock guide is also required.
The basic fishing method is to cast straight, let the hook sink to the bottom or to the specified depth, and then start a slow to medium retrieve, followed by a steady retrieve when resistance is felt in the water.
Vertical casting is also an effective method, but slanting the rope increases the sweep area and chances of getting bites.
Depth settings are flexible, with the 60g lure being used at depths of 30-80m, and the 80g lure at depths of 40-100m.
To set the peg, red gun barrel hooks must be attached to the front and rear. Only the rear hook works well for slow or large pulling movements.
